AWMA Ontario Section presents the three winners of the 2018/2019 Paul G. Complin memorial scholarship: Amanda Lim (University of Waterloo) who is studying the feasibility of vermicomposting biosolids at the municipal level, Anum Khan (Ryerson University) who is studying the "flushability" of common household cleaning products, and Reeda Mahmood (Ryerson University) who is looking at the use of photosensitive dyes in the next generation of solar panels.

Six finalists gave brief presentations on their current research and interests to a group of AWMA members and their guests, at a dinner hosted at the MaRS building. Thanks to everyone who submitted an application this year and congratulations to all six finalists who represented a wide range of environmental and sustainability studies. We encourage all eligible students to watch our website this fall for the 2019/2020 scholarship announcement, or subscribe to our mailing list.
