Save the date of May 8th, 2025, when the Air & Waste Management Association – Ontario Section will be proud to host an in-person-only one-day Waste Management Conference in London, Ontario.
Global speakers from industry, academia and the public sector will explore state-of-the-art sustainable waste management, for Ontario and beyond. Planned sessions include Perspectives on Current Waste Management, Evolving Waste Management Technology and Waste Diversion & Circularity.
The Air & Waste Management Association – Ontario Section will host this far-reaching three-session conference on the latest global advances in sustainable waste management, on May 8th, 2025 at the BW Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre in London Ontario.

Session 1: Waste Management/Diversion Status and Perspectives - includes invited speakers from Ontario’s Ministry of the Environment, our Resource Productivity & Recovery Authority, and even SRH University in Germany.
Session 2: Evolving Waste Management Technology – will dive deeply into evolving technologies for landfill management and sustainable incineration systems, among other things.
Session 3: Waste/Resource Circulation closes the loop with retailers, producers, recyclers, service providers, agencies, and standards-setting for waste recovery and ultimate circulation.
Additional planned events include an experts-led ½ day training session and an opening evening reception, on May 7th.
