Call for Nominations | A&WMA Ontario Section Board of Directors

It is that time of year where we are calling for member nominations to participate on the 2019 Ontario Section Board of Directors! We have a great team on the Board working hard to grow our membership. We have a lot of plans for more conferences, workshops, breakfasts and newsletters in 2019 and beyond. We are looking for energetic individuals eager to advance the mandate of the A&WMA and make 2019 an exceptional year for all members! The position consists of volunteering 2 or 3 hours a month and it is a great opportunity for you to give back to your Environmental Profession, with passion.

A number of Board positions are now up for election, plus informal Committee work.

Nominations are being solicited to fill five Board of Directors positions. The deadline to receive nominations is Friday, February 1, 2019. You may nominate yourself or any other Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) member. All nominees must be current members of A&WMA. The Nominating Committee will review the nominees and submit a slate of candidates for consideration by the Board of Directors and then an election will be held in late February 2019 if needed.
